My name is Gaurav Thapa, and I am from Nepal. I am the administrator of the website https://www.pteielts.com/.
I work as a full-time English language instructor at Expert Education and Visa Services in Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Nepal..
Pteielts.com is a personal website, which I launched in 2020, in order to share my knowledge on English language tests with the help of internet.
From my experience, I have found that lack of study resources is the biggest obstacle for students who are preparing for English proficiency tests like IELTS and PTE. Through this website, I aim to disseminate as much information as possible for success in English language tests.
I conduct six classes of IELTS and PTE everyday with about 25 students in each class. Throughout the years as a professional teacher, I have developed a ton of materials that are crucial for test preparation which I intend to make available here for free.
My qualifications
I have a university degree in English from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
- I have worked as a sub-editor of The Kathmandu Post national daily newspaper.
- I have experience working as an editorial assistant for English-language magazines at ECS Media Pvt Ltd.
- I have participated in various official training programs for IELTS and PTE conducted by IDP Education, British Council, and Pearson.
I took the PTE test myself in 2017 and scored a full score of 90 in each band and overall. Ever since, I have been teaching English language tests.
I also took the IELTS test in June 2023, and I score 8.5 overall.
